    Australia’s financial system has emerged resilient from COVID-19. Yet as we look to economic recovery in 2021, and a return to paused pre-COVID priorities, there is little room for complacency. The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) says the Australian financial system’s response underlines the value of an ongoing regulatory program that seeks to identify risks and put in place appropriate mitigation strategies to protect the interests of depositors, policy holders and superannuation fund members.
