In May 1995, CEDA released Training for a skilled workforce: review of the national training reform agenda which assessed initiatives and offered recommendations to further improveme Australia's VET system.
In May 1995 CEDA released Strategic Issues Forum report titled Training for a skilled workforce: review of the National Training Reform Agenda. At the time, the system was undergoing a period of change, with reforms aimed at improving the quality, flexibility and responsiveness of VET.
The report found that the VET system should: be more client focused and responsive to the needs of individual enterprises; provide better training at the local level while remaining nationally consistent; and be more competitive, including potentially taking a user choice approach
