Nicolas Gindt
Chief Executive Officer, Yarra Trams

Nicolas Gindt is a seasoned leader in the transportation industry, having held senior positions in rail passenger and freight organisations for more than 20 years. He has consistently delivered results in managerial leadership, operation, and customer experience.
 
As Chief Executive Officer of Yarra Trams since 2015, Nicolas leads the operation of Melbourne’s iconic tram network; the largest in the world, delivering a world-class service on more than 200 million trips a year.
 
Nicolas is accountable for ensuring the ongoing sustainability of the tram network and building a service that continues to meet the needs of Melbourne’s growing population. Under his leadership, Keolis Downer extended its operations of Yarra Trams for a further seven years, until 2024.
