Event overview

In advance of the G20 Summit in Brisbane this November CEDA will deliver Australia's Brisbane Summit challenge: Securing G20's future. This report brings together leading thinkers from the international governance, finance and taxation fields to examine the issues associated with the G20's role in today's globalised world and their insights on:

  • The current state of play in international governance;
  • G20's strengths and weaknesses given prevailing conditions and Australia's challenges in chairing the 2014 Leaders' Summit;
  • G20's record in reforming the  international financial system and an assessment of what remains to be done; and
  • G20's role in reforming the international tax regime.

CEDA research draws together the best minds on key issues, to inject new ideas into policy debate. We are pleased to present the report's national launch in Brisbane, to be followed by public events in capital cities around the country with report authors joining senior industry leaders to present their views and progress debate.

All attendees receive a copy of CEDA's Australia's Brisbane Summit challenge: Securing G20's future research report.
