Event overview

The rapid pace of house price growth has pushed the spread of development further out from the Perth Metropolitan area. This not only presents social and equity challenges for those living further from employment and family, but places pressure on the delivery of associated infrastructure such as transport and essential services.

Speakers at this event will explore:

  • Challenges arising from housing trends;
  • Drivers of demand and possible policy levers;
  • Affordable housing options for people in need;
  • Transport oriented development; and
  • High density residential developments.

Join CEDA’s senior audience to discuss the solutions required to house all Australians.

This event coincides with CEDA’s national launch of its research publication Housing Australia. WA based contributing author for this CEDA report, Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre Deputy Director, Professor Rachel Ong ViforJ, will also speak at this event.

Event attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the report.
