The Hon. Daniel Andrews MP
Premier of Victoria

Daniel entered the Victorian Parliament in 2002 as the Member for Mulgrave, representing families in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs. He was appointed to the Cabinet in 2006, as Minister for Consumer Affairs and Gaming, and he became Minister for Health in 2007. As Health Minister, Daniel devised the landmark Victorian Cancer Action Plan and funded the state’s first Comprehensive Cancer Centre. In December 2010, Daniel became Leader of the Opposition. He was sworn in as Victoria’s 48th Premier in December 2014.
