Event overview

The Hon. Di Farmer will provide a portfolio briefing to CEDA Trustees on Government priorities for equity, inclusion, participation and resilience.

The Minister will outline policy and programs to deliver improved outcomes for the most vulnerable, to realise equity, and provide access for at risk Queenslanders. It is a timely discussion of the social and economic drivers for assisting those in need.

This briefing is by invitation only to CEDA Trustees. Trustees are senior leaders nominated by CEDA member organisations. At CEDA boardroom briefings Trustees hear from an informed, expert guest speaker in a private, small group setting. Invitations to boardroom briefings are a valued benefit of CEDA membership. The Minister for Child Safety, Youth and Women and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence

Di Farmer is the Member for Bulimba. She has been active on Parliamentary committees including the Crime and Corruption Committee; the Integrity, Ethics and Parliamentary Privileges Committee; the Environment, Agriculture, Resources and Energy Committee. She was Deputy Speaker in 2016 and was appointed Minister in December 2017.
