The financial services sector is transforming to provide innovative services to address customer demand, regulatory compliance and reduce operating costs.

Increasingly customers expect the service levels provided to them by financial institutions reflects their experiences elsewhere. The role of new technologies in improving customer experience and the attraction and retention of new business is being interpreted differently across sectors. Bernadette will analyse what it takes for business to thrive in the digital age and its implications for workforces and organisations.

Bernadette has expertise through leadership roles across every point in the financial services value chain and in all segments of the industry, including retail banking, wealth and insurance. Bernadette also has diverse experience on boards, including industries ranging from financial services to education and fashion - serving on the boards of Opera Queensland, Ports Corporation Queensland, Whitehouse Institute of Design, AAI NZ, RACI, Hooker Corporation and the Insurance Council of Australia.
