CEDA's Big Issues project aims to identify and prioritise the challenges facing Australian business over the next 10 years.
The project has been developed in partnership with CEDA board member and chair of our Research Committee, Phil Ruthven, who has generously provided the resources of IBISWorld.
Each year, we ask CEDA members to rank selected issues according to their potential to affect Australian economic development.
Responses are then aggregated and sent to IBISWorld for analysis.
Once a clear list of issues is identified, CEDA convenes a roundtable to come up with clear policy solutions to the top issues.
Member participation is of critical importance to the success of this project.
Not only will our members have the opportunity to influence the future research and event agenda of CEDA, they have the opportunity to influence prioritisation of the policy agenda at the highest level.
