Ahmed Fahour

A rising star of Australian business, Ahmed Fahour has addressed CEDA and also spoken one-on-one with CEDA staff about the National Australia Bank and his management style.

Appointed chief executive officer of the Australian operations of the National Australia Bank at just 38, Ahmed Fahour has already become one of the best-known faces of Australian business. He considered an academic career, took up consulting instead, became a senior executive at Citibank and was picked by NAB CEO John Stewart to become the key player in restoring the bank's fortunes.
