Appointed chief executive officer of the Australian operations of the National Australia Bank at just 38, Ahmed Fahour has already become one of the best-known faces of Australian business. He considered an academic career, took up consulting instead, became a senior executive at Citibank and was picked by NAB CEO John Stewart to become the key player in restoring the bank's fortunes.
As well as addressing CEDA, Ahmed Fahour has taken part in the first of CEDA's video dialogues - interviews with key business and economic figures that provide new insights to CEDA members and the public. He talked with CEDA's policy and communications director, David Walker.
