The Copland Leadership Program is CEDA's professional development program for future leaders planning to accelerate their careers. It offers exceptional professional collaboration across corporate, government, academic and community sectors.

The Copland Leadership program:

  • Builds core skills to support self-leadership including design thinking, 360 feedback, innovative and disruptive thinking, and entrepreneurship; and
  • Supports a leadership path to wider organisational leadership and Australia's role as a global leader.

Who should participate?

The Copland Leadership program is designed specifically for ambitious young people seeking to accelerate their careers into executive general management.

Copland candidates will have attained certain success in their chosen professions, with demonstrated intellectual rigour, but now want to elevate their performance along the path to leadership.

The program's intake is limited to 25 participants to ensure an exclusive and personalised learning experience, with the added benefit of extending participants' networks across a range of industries.

Meet the facilitator

Dr Melinda Muth
Melinda is an educator and consultant who specialises in individual and group behaviour, principally with senior executives and leadership teams.

She is currently Managing Director of the Institute of Food and Grocery Management. Melinda is Faculty Advisor and facilitator with the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the adjunct faculty at UNSW where she earned her PhD with a thesis on the impact of boards on company performance. Melinda graduated from the University of Cincinnati magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Design and earned her MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Program details

The Copland Leadership program begins on Tuesday 3rd October 2017.

Early bird rate: $3,450 including GST (ending 30th June 2017)

Standard rate: $3,950 including GST

Non-member rate:  $4,200 including GST

Member organisations who nominate two or more participants: $3,500 including GST
