Position overview

The Committee for Economic Development of Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic event professional.  The role will primarily be responsible for delivering lunchtime events for CEDA members and other key stakeholders.

Duties and responsibilties

  • Event planning, delivery and onsite coordination
  • Venue, speaker and sponsor management
  • Marketing coordination
  • Expense management and working within budgets
  • Event close out reporting.

Skills and experience

  • Relevant event coordination experience or training
  • ​Exceptional professionalism and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent time management skills and great attention to detail
  • Demonstrated sound financial management and working with budgets
  • Self-confidence and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently, part of a positive team and values based business
  • Experience with relevant eDM tools (IMIS experience an advantage)
  • Experience in membership organisations would be an advantage but not essential.
